Protection for Primates of the World
Presented by Bourbonnais Township Park District
Discover the amazing diversity of primates from around the world, including gorillas, baboons, macaques, and marmosets. Learn what makes these intelligent animals so closely connected to humans and explore the conservation efforts needed to protect them in the wild. This engaging indoor lecture features replicas and specimens and is open to all ages; however, viewer discretion is advised due to sensitive content. Program Objectives (Goals/Purpose): Educate participants on how important conservation is while showing them the effects of people not caring about conservation.
