 ence\n\n<strong>Parent + Child Preschool Readiness</strong>\n\nThe years b
efore preschool are some of the most important in a child’s development.
During this time\, children are building the <em>confidence\, independenc
e\, concentration\, and practical skills </em>that become the foundation f
 or future learning.\n\n<strong>Montessori Makers</strong> is a Montessori-
inspired parent + child program designed to gently prepare children for th
 e preschool experience through purposeful play\, hands-on exploration\, an
d meaningful real-world activities.\n\nEach class takes place in a thought
fully prepared environment where children are free to choose from a variet
y of carefully designed <strong>Invitations to Explore</strong>. Rather th
an following teacher-directed crafts or structured lessons\, children enga
ge in self-directed experiences that encourage curiosity\, creativity\, an
d independent discovery <em>while playing alongside their caregiver and ot
her children.</em>\n\nThis shared environment gives children natural oppor
 tunities to <em>observe\, interact\, communicate\, take turns\, share spac
e\, and build early friendships - </em>all while learning at their own pac
e.\n\nOur instructor offers gentle guidance that encourages confidence\, p
roblem-solving\, and meaningful engagement <em>while supporting positive i
nteractions between children.</em>\n\n<strong>What Children Are Building</
strong>\nThroughout each class\, children naturally develop the foundation
al skills that support future classroom success:\n\n<em><strong>Independen
 ce</strong></em>\nMaking choices\, completing activities\, and learning to
  care for materials.\n\n<em><strong>Practical Life Skills</strong></em>\nP
 ouring\, scooping\, transferring\, sorting\, cleaning\, and other purposef
ul tasks that build coordination and self-confidence.\n\n<em><strong>Conce
ntration & Focus</strong></em>\nEngaging deeply with meaningful activities
at their own pace while learning to work alongside others.\n\n<em><strong
 >Fine Motor Development</strong></em>\nStrengthening the small muscles and
coordination needed for writing\, dressing\, and everyday self-care.\n\n<
 em><strong>Language Development</strong></em>\nBuilding vocabulary and com
munication skills through conversation\, descriptive language\, and meanin
gful interactions with adults and peers.\n\n<em><strong>Social & Emotional
Growth</strong></em>\nPlaying alongside other children\, sharing space an
 d materials\, practicing patience\, observing others\, building friendship
s\, and learning respectful ways to interact within a small community.\n\n
 <em><strong>Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking</strong></em>\nExperimenti
ng with open-ended materials\, trying different approaches\, and developin
g confidence in figuring things out independently.\n\n<em><strong>Learning
Through the Process</strong></em>\nRather than focusing on creating a fin
ished project\, Montessori Makers values the learning that happens through
the <em>process of exploration and the connections children make along th
e way.</em>\n\nEvery Invitation to Explore has been intentionally designed
  to give children opportunities to choose\, practice\, discover\, repeat\,
and master while developing the skills they need for future success in th
e classroom—and in everyday life.\n\n<em><strong>Part of the Little Me P
lay to Learn Pathway</strong></em>\nMontessori Makers serves as a natural
bridge between <strong>Mini Makers</strong>\, where babies first experienc
e sensory exploration and connection\, and our <strong>Preschool Transitio
n Program</strong>\, where children begin participating in class independe
ntly.\n\nTogether\, these programs create a thoughtful pathway that suppor
ts each child's growing <strong>confidence\, independence\, social awarene
ss\, and readiness</strong> for our Montessori Preschool and beyond!\n\nNo
